*Notes of interest on MS (Multiple Sclerosis)

I was contacted by a  young man ( 30yrs.- 40yrs. )  by telephone and email who was reliant on a wheelchair to get about and required daily home care for his condition of MS.

His interest in contacting me was to be touched as apposed to be helped with his condition.  We do all need touch, some of us by a man. Touch is healing. He is in what I call  "a physical state defined by the medical world with the limitations defined by the medical world."

My immediate question in any chronic or acute health crisis is "what is the emotional component? "

I did a bit of reading up on MS and  even the MS Society makes absolutely no mention of an emotional component. The Heart, Arthritis, Lung and every other society are riding pretty much the same wave where the closest they come to an emotional component is stress.

Since individuals begin getting symptoms in their early to mid adulthood; it's not known to be hereditary and most are healthy up to the point when they are diagnosed with MS  then there has to be an emotional component or trigger.

I asked him, at what age his MS symptoms began.  He replied 22 yrs.

I asked him, "what exactly was going on at that time?"

He knew exactly what was going on in his life at that time.

He was walloped ( my words ) with a tremendous amount of ( Stress )  life issues to deal with. Ok so there's the stress factor the medical field might recognise.

He had just finished college. He had just gotten married. He was on the road traveling with a new carreer; his mother was in the hospital dying of cancer in another province and his new wife was with their new born baby in another province. There was no mention of a father or other siblings for support and I am not sure if their were or not.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that his mind/ body just could not cope with all the responsibilities and it just went into  shut down mode. The conscious mind said,  "I can't deal with this,"  and the subconscious said  someone needs to take care of me. And that is the result of the power of the mind. We have been given the ability to create everything in our lives.  It is the Unconscious underlying thoughts that have the greatest power because these are the ones most repeated and held consistently.

For every one  " I want to be well thoughts " there is a thousand I am not worthy of wellness thoughts that go on.  Being positive in your thinking is not positive thinking if the thugths are interlaced  over  and under with negative thoughts.  That is the reality of why we end up with what we don't want and continue being stuck where we don't want to be.

We get exactly what we ask for. Our most powerful thoughts are the consistent unconscious ones.  When that is clear to you, you can change anything in your life. That change may require a lot of Conscious undoing but it can begin with a small steps.

I not only beleive, I know for a fact that you can change a physical condition for the better with a single thought. The consistent thought of wellness has more power over a consistent thought of illness. Change the quality of the energy of the thoughts and you transform the physical body to that higher energy which can heal.

Laughter is the best medicine is not just an old wives tale. I have used it on several occasions. After falling off a ladder recently onto my back and slicing a finger open ( not just cutting it ) blood pouring out I laughed  the pain away. When my bad hip was acting up due to unresolved ongoing energy depleting issues ( specifically Tenants and "Sympatico" )  to the point of not being able to ride my bike but needing to get the bike home, I fake laughed my way home and rode my bike wtihout pain.  It is true that the body doesnot know the difference between real and fake laughter, however the benifits of a true belly laugh far outweigh a fake laugh.

My laughter yoga teacher broke a toe after falling down the stairs on her way to lead  a laughter yoga class. She grabbed a pair of crutches from her basement, taught her class and then went to the hospital to confirm and deal with the broken toe.

Why does laughter work ? It works because the focus is no longer on pain. When you distract yourself away from your condition,  however you do that, with laughter or intense concentration on something you love,  a really good movie, maybe playing with your grand kids,  you have  changed your energy to a higher energy which can heal the body. Absolutely.

Have you a condition and would be intersted in an intuitive assessment with the intent on change and resolveing it? Please contact me. Regardless of how long you have had it, I beleive you can change it. However, it's you that has to beleive.
