The Lymphatic System Components
The lymphatic system consists of a network of vessels that drain tissue fluid into lymph nodes and are a part of our immune system. This system moves slowly from our lower extremities upward and end at two points on either side of the chest. Lymph drains downward slowly from the neck and shoulder to these same points. Enhanced lymph movement results in stronger immunity.
One excellent way of moving lymph is to activate the lymphatic system by bouncing gently on the heals. You can do this in Aerobic classes. dancing in your homeor apartment or by simpling bouncing off the toes to the deal and allowing the vibration to travel upo the body keeping in mind to allow the entire body to be relaxed with hips and knees and arms wrists and shoulders relaxed.
Dry Body Brushing is very effective for this process of moving the lymph along to enhance our immune response as well as for cancer and disease prevention. this can be performed everyday as a conscious meditative sacrad exercise upon waking before your bath or shower.
The immune system is our defence against illness and disease. (cleanup crew). Immunity / Immune Response is the body's ability to repel and eliminate foreign substances and cells.
Lymph Nodes act to filter and remove invading organisms and abnormal cells from the lymph fluid and process them so they can be eliminated. Lymph Fluid is a clear whitish / yellowish fluid that contains white blood cells (lymphocites), proteins, and some red blood cells.
